Brody Dalle has pleaded not guilty to contempt in her ongoing battle for child custody with ex Josh Homme. As Rolling Stone reports, the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman accused the Distillers founder of violating their October 2020 custody agreement by not allowing him to see their kids since August 26. Homme reportedly wants Dalle to face fines or receive community service or jail time. Dalle, meanwhile, has accused Homme of domestic violence and verbal harassment.

Liza Womack, the mother of Lil Peep, claims the late rapper’s record label is withholding $4 million in royalties from his estate, Rolling Stone reports. Womack says the label, First Access Entertainment, has admitted that the money is owed but is refusing to pay out in a “transparent” attempt to undermine Womack’s wrongful death lawsuit against the label.

Last year, before releasing What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down, their guest-heavy return to Def Jam Records, the legendary rap rabble-rousers Public Enemy went through a weird public spat that might have been fake. After Public Enemy were announced to perform a Bernie Sanders rally in Los Angeles, longtime hypeman (and one-time reality TV celebrity) Flavor Flav loudly objected to the gig — which turned out to feature Chuck D’s PE offshoot Public Enemy Radio — on the grounds that he did not want to be affiliated with Sanders’ campaign.
