Selling Sunset star Maya Vander has suffered a miscarriage, six months after she delivered her stillborn son.

The Netflix star, 40, announced the sad news on her Instagram stories Tuesday with a picture of her son Aiden, three, as he slept.

‘I had a very crazy week. Miscarriage after 10 weeks… following my stillbirth… but my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessing and I am so lucky to be there mother!’

She continued: ‘They bring me joy and happiness to my life!! Hug and love the people you care about. Don’t take things for granted!’ adding a prayer emoji.

Maya is married to David Amar, and they share two children: Aiden and daughter Elle, two.

Six months prior to her miscarriage, Maya suffered a devastating stillbirth.

She revealed the news on her social media with a picture of a memory box given by the hospital.

In the heartbreaking post, Maya wrote: ‘I had a still birth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics… Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone. What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagined would happen to me…’

Last week, Maya reflected on her loss via her Instagram, revealing that she is still healing from her loss but that staying active has helped her copy with the pain.

‘Everyone handles their loss in their own way, but for me I find the key is to stay busy. A healthy distraction always keeps me going.’

Adding that it helped to ‘get to work, socialize with people, get your body moving  (endorphins), and talk to someone. From my experiences, I know the pain of loss won’t heal overnight, but today is a great day to begin or continue furthering the healing process.’

Maya spoke out about how she struggled to watch Selling Sunset’s season five, where she was 22 weeks pregnant at the time of filming.

 Maya said during the reunion for season five, that her son died in a ‘freak accident’ due to umbilical cord compression.

‘It’s been four and a half months and time helps. I want to say thanks to each and every one of you, whenever s**t hits the fan, everyone was so kind here. Life happens, we don’t know how things will happen. I was 38 weeks, and it was a freak accident.’ 

She continued: ‘We just got the autopsy back and it was just a bad accident with the cord. Mixed with some swallowed placenta.’
