Rihanna Is Pregnant With Her First Child, Expecting with A$AP Rocky

It’s time to freak alllll the way out now, y’all, because the one and only Robyn Rihanna Fenty is about to be a mom!!!! That’s right: The singer and fashion icon is expecting her first child with rapper boyfriend ASAP Rocky, confirmed People. Ahhhhh!

The announcement comes just after the pair was photographed in Harlem, aka where ASAP is from, over the weekend, and RiRi was showing off her baby bump in, of course, the most fabulous of ways. She wore a long pink coat where her bump peeked out between the unbuttoned bottom portion. Jewels glazed her belly and it was giving pregnancy chic! We already know this is going to be the most fashionable baby ever.

Even though Rihanna just shut down pregnancy rumors in December 2021, having children has always been a part of her life plan—with or without a partner, that is. When asked what she hoped for within the next 10 years in the May 2020 British Vogue cover story interview, Rih said, “Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient. I’ll have kids—three or four of ’em.” The writer then asked Rihanna if she would have children on her own if she hadn’t found the right partner. Ri’s response? “Hell yeah.”

She continued: “I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong….’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness. That’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly is love.”

But obvi, Ri did find the right partner. She and Rocky, who are both 33 years old, have been together for roughly two years now, and just last week, a source told Entertainment Tonight that they are “inseparable” and that their ’ship is “in a good place.” The source went on: “After a very busy fall with professional commitments, they took some time to relax and unwind and really reconnect with each other.”
