Oscars 2022: Best dressed stars on red carpet

Hollywood’s finest arrived in style at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday afternoon, as they walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz and Jessica Chastain opted for spring ready pastel looks – perfect for the timing of the prestigious event – while Zendaya flashed her midriff in a silver skirt and satin crop top  by Valentino for a more youthful look.

The Oscars were originally supposed to take place in February 2022, but was pushed back a month due to the Super Bowl and the 2022 Winter Olympics.

It looked as if the stars were making up for lost time by dressing in their very most glamorous styles as last year the ceremony was severely pared down due to the COVID-19 pandemic; last year’s show also took place at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles due to social distancing guidelines.

For Sunday’s red carpet, Nicole, 54, stunned in a sky blue Armani Prive gown, featuring a voluminous peplum waist and a fitted skirt; the strapless number also had a ribbon-style train.

The actress, who arrived with husband Keith Urban, paired the frock with red lipstick and nails while dripping in diamonds.

Zoe Kravitz, 33, opted for a rosy pink hued Saint Laurent gown featuring a strapless neckline with a bow detail.

The Batman actress – who played Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson, paired the elegant number with a diamond choker and Audrey Hepburn inspired short bangs.

She paired it with matching heels, red nails and a statement diamond necklace
