Circular Design, which now seems to define every part of the brand umbrella, has brought Nike back to offerings previously left behind. The Air Force 1 Flyknit, for example, is finally seeing the light of day yet again, doing so in new, sustainable variations. And with its newest line-up of kids releases, the silhouette — herein dubbed the Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit — is presenting fresh styling to a material that’s nothing short of time-honored.

Prepared in both a black and white colorway, the shoe starts with a relatively standard sole unit. Along the latter’s rear and fore, Grind Rubbers display their embedded, multi-color scraps, signaling the fixture’s recycled nature far more than the speckled midsole. Above, the Primeknit simulates overlays and unders with disparate patterns: an intarsia-like knit marks the “overlays,” while a dotted and hexagonal shapes highlight the toe box and profile.

In other news, Nike just unveiled the Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature.
