How’s your week going? Lila Moss went straight from hanging out in the VIP area at Glastonbury with best mate Stella Jones, to storming Simon Porte Jacquemus’s salt flat catwalk in the South of France.
It was the 19-year-old model’s debut appearance on one of Jacquemus’s impossibly picturesque runways (in the past, the French designer has staged shows in rolling fields of lavender and wheat). Lila swapped her festival gear—striped jeans and a Marfa Stance jacket—for look 22 from the Le Papier collection, a bleached-out affair that represented a shift from the vibrant pinks and oranges the brand was first known for.
Watching as Lila made her way across the salt in her raw-hem cropped jacket with matching trousers? None other than Victoria Beckham, who turned up to support her friend Simon (albeit dressed in her own new-season pieces).
Moss’s appearance alongside Jill Kortleve and Adut Akech in the show is just further evidence of her own nascent supermodel status. Having joined her mum Kate on the blockbuster Fendace runway at the end of last year, the teenager appeared on the cover of British Vogue for the first time in May. Expect to see lots more of her when September rolls around.
