‘Ready to make life a little sweeter?’ Country music superstar Dolly Parton debuts new cake and brownie mixes with Duncan Hines
Dolly Parton is bringing a little something sweet into kitchens everywhere. The 9-to-5 singer announced a new collaboration with Duncan Hines called Dolly Parton’s Baking Collection.
The member of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, 77, released an adorable Instagram video on the brand’s account revealing her recipes for cornbread, biscuits and brownie mixes will be available at grocery stores soon.
‘Ready to make life a little sweeter?’ the Jolene singer asked.
In one shot from the video, the Steel Magnolias actress – who credits her warped sense of humor as a big part of why her 56 year marriage endures – wears a pink and white gingham shirt with a yellow apron over it, matching the color scheme of the boxes of cake and brownie mixes.
In another shot, she wears a hot pink blouse with a heart-shaped apron over it. The apron is decorated with red and pink hearts.

Limited edition: The new mixes will be available for a limited time starting on February 8
‘I grew up with all of these great recipes and watching my family cook all those things and I always had my head stuck in a song or had a guitar in my hand rather than a spatula,’ she told Country Living.
This is her second collaboration with Duncan Hines. Her limited edition brownie mixes, banana cake mix and other delicious items hits stores on February 8.
‘How can we be more Southern than making biscuits and cornbreads and all the wonderful things that we’re doing,’ she said.
And Dolly’s up to a lot more this year–including releasing her hotly anticipated rock and roll album that she was inspired to do after being nominated for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
‘Why not just go ahead and do it while the iron’s hot,’ the I Will Always Love You singer told Pollstar magazine last fall. ‘Maybe have some of the greats, the legends of rock ‘n’ roll sing along with me.’
And she really means it when she says legends. She plans to record her bluegrass version of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’ with none other than Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
Dolly also hinted at including her goddaughter Miley Cyrus and Ed Sheeran on the album that is expected to drop this fall.
While Dolly is involved with Duncan Hines, she wants to set the record straight about those CBD gummy ads.

Her reps, Team Dolly, revealed in a social media post that the Here You Come Again singer is not fronting campaigns for any CBD gummy product.
‘Dolly Parton is not affiliated with, has not endorsed and is not associated with any keto or CBD gummy product,’ the post said.
‘She’s more the cake, cookie, and cornbread type.’
