More details about Jared Padalecki’s recent car accident have been revealed.
According to an accident report released by the Texas Department of Transportation and obtained by TMZ, the 39-year-old Supernatural star was one of four people in the Tesla, which crashed a few weeks ago.
Padalecki’s cousin, Jeremy Padalecki, was driving when the car “jumped over a concrete wall on a left turn and smashed against a utility pole”, the outlet reports.

Jeremy was apparently the most seriously injured of the four and, according to TMZ, he was cited for speeding but nothing more.
Jared’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles revealed the scary news last weekend at the Supernatural Official Convention in New Jersey.
“I don’t know if you guys know what’s going on,” Ackles said of Jared, explaining his absence. “He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive.”

“He’s home recovering, which the fact that he’s not in a hospital right now is blowing my mind because I saw the car,” Ackles, 44, said.
Jared later shared an update on social media, thanking fans for their support and well wishes.

“Hey y’all! I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love,” he tweeted. “I’m definitely on the mend and hoping to return to filming later this week. I’m so lucky to have had the best care and be surrounded by people who love me. So grateful for everyone.”
Jared currently stars in the lead role of The CW’s Walker, which is currently in the middle of airing its second season.
