A battle between two of Gothenburg’s most influential crews in electronic music. 6 hours and 12 acts playing Hardcore Techno and Noise versus Dubstep & Drum&Bass on two floors. With a whole new venue situated in the grimey parts of Gothenburg. With both teams having respected video support and a sound that could cut through diamonds this battle will go down to history.

We warm up for another crazy party on the boat. Yes, Shambler’s back and it’s gonna be a lively one. TRPR, Tafuri, Shaka & the rest of the Shambler crew are amped and ready to make you sweat on the dancefloor. The entire line-up join us in the studio for a proper warm-up, Bassline Express-Grooveradio-Shambler-style! Tracklist only, since technology keeps being our enemy.
As you may or may not know, Leroy is leaving for an internship in the Dubstep Mecka, London UK. So this was his last show for a while, but he will be with us in spririt all the way. To send him off inna style & fashion, Tafuri [Groove Radio] and Amazing A [FRMT] came down to the studio as well. AA actually managed to sqeeze in a little Toastyboy special. Toastyboy recently announced that, sadly, hewill no longer be producing dubstep. But we wish him good luck in his future endeavours and enjoy AA’s mix of probably most of his releases.
This week sort of turned out to be an unintentional Deep Medi Special. But that works out pretty well since most of the crew were going to London for DMZ’s 4 year anniversary bash this weekend. DMZ, if you don’t know, is hosted by Deep Medi label-owner Mala, alongside Bassline Express’ friend Loefah and one more of our favourite producers, Coki. We’ll chat about our trip i general and DMZ in particular in the upcoming show, and hopefully play a bunch of new records that we’ve picked up on our trip to London. Also in this weeks show, not one, not two, but three(!) exclusive world premieres, from Tafuri and Losca.
Oh my gawsh! It’s a total rinseout of the basement. A smashing mashup of party music from 22:00 – 03:00. Come and shake your booty to kickass Booty Bass, Baltimore, Ghettotech, Breaks, Big Beat and a lot of other genres.
Once again our good friend Amazing A [FRMT] came down to the studio and joined Leroy and TRPR in the Dubstep hour. Some new and some unreleased stuff in that hour and then a nice set from Losca in the Drum&Bass hour. But wait, there’s more! Leroy stayed for another hour and were joined by Tafuri [Groove Radio]. So another 3h set with the freshest and dopest in Dubstep and Drum&Bass.
Since Leroy and Losca had to prepare for our party, TRPR hooked up with Amazing A [FRMT] and Tafuri [Groove Radio] for this special show dedicated to Dubstep from 2008. So prepare yourself for over fifty tracks in two hours when we pick out our favourites from the past year.
