Once again we give you not one, not two, but three podcast’s in one update (with one more soon to come). This updates included our “Best of 2009″ show and the first to shows of 2010.
We start off the new year by wrapping up a bunch of December podcast’s to a late but nice Christmas gift for y’all. Six hours of bass music for snowed in days.
After last week’s sick show with Ghettozoid, we didn’t know what to do to top it, so Zub actually threw in the towel and stayed home. OK, that might not have been the case, but he couldn’t make it down to the studio so Losca mad a call to our new friend from Montpellier and asked him to come back. Said and done, Ventrilok came down and for the second hour him and Losca went back to back for a international co-lab. But that’s not all, first hour TRPR went all out and killed it with a set full ofbangers of bass.
Ghettozoid is a DJ/producer from the UK, but she now divides her time between Bristol, London and Berlin. When she’s not in the studio herself or out DJing, she manages a bunch of wicked labels (Sludge, Jungle Cakes, Hot Cakes, Booty Breaks and Rat records) and she’s also in the process of launching her own label ‘One4Ho’.
This is the hundred post on the blog so we just had to make it a proper one. Good thing we’re so slow with the podcasts, now we had some stuff to fill it with. Two podcasts with 4 hours of wicked music!
If you didn’t get down to a Shambler party this summer in Gothenburg then you probably like house music and drinks with funny colours more than bass and beer. Shambler made RioRio rock every time this summer but since 3/4 of the Shambler crew now reside in Berlin (DE) Shaka joined forces with Yohan and formed Phobic Soundsystem. They were both meant to join us for the show on November 3rd but Shaka had to cancel in the last minute. Yohan came and rocked the place still!
Yeah, ok, we know, our podcast is not updated very fast. But when we do, it’s worth the wait. Plus you can always lock in live, Tuesdays 20.00-22.00 CET if you want to hear it sooner.
We can’t get it down everytime OK? Hopefully we say the names of the tunes here and there. Stay tuned, stay locked!
We’ll bring back the battle between two of Gothenburg’s most influenced crews in electronic music. 6 hours and 12 acts playing Hardcore Techno and Noise versus Dubstep & Drum&Bass on two floors. In Gothenburg’s newest underground venue situated in the grimey parts of Gothenburg, Hisingen.
New podcast from the Bassline camp. Tafuri from Groove Radio dropped by the studio last week and gave up some nice new tracks. Tune in Tuesdays at 20.00 CET for more dubstep and drrum&bass from your favourite Gothenburg crew! More info at bassline-express.com/radio
