On Friday the 21st we’re co-hosting a party with Shocks at a new location in Gothenburg. To battle against eachother to give you the heaviest and dirtiest party so far. Check out the event here. Also on the show Tafuri killer tunes, features from Shocks with new styles like Hardcore Techno and Breakcore, Leroy’s comeback from London, yells from our drunken photographer Ingo, chit-chat from Malign, nice visit from Hempuz LDBG as well as a murder Drum & Bass set from the brothers Losca and Zub.

On May 15th we had Synkro from Manchester over as we joined forces with The Eye at Nefertiti. To warm you all up TRPR played about 30minutes of Synkro productions as well as a bunch of other nice vibes. And of course Losca played a nice D’N'B set to set the pace for the vibes going down on the outside area of Nefertiti.

We’ve never had a drum&bass special before, so we thought it was appropriate since some of Gothenburg’s finest in that genre were hooking up at Röda Sten for a mad party called “What the Fuck”. The party was also the unofficial 30th birthday party for one of the promoters, Struck. So to be warmed-up properly, we invited Struck to the show and him and Losca went at it!

Every once in a while your hear music and you just know, this will go far. First time we heard our friends in Bird, Fish and in Between’s music, it was just like that. We instantly decided to support them in anyway possible, and now they finally felt ready to come join us on the show and showcase what they’ve been working. It’s something like bassline-house, niche, 4-4, pop, electro, whatever and it rocks! So download and join the movement. Because these guys are going nowhere but up!

We warm up for another crazy party on the boat. Yes, Shambler’s back and it’s gonna be a lively one. TRPR, Tafuri, Shaka & the rest of the Shambler crew are amped and ready to make you sweat on the dancefloor. The entire line-up join us in the studio for a proper warm-up, Bassline Express-Grooveradio-Shambler-style! Tracklist only, since technology keeps being our enemy.

As you may or may not know, Leroy is leaving for an internship in the Dubstep Mecka, London UK. So this was his last show for a while, but he will be with us in spririt all the way. To send him off inna style & fashion, Tafuri [Groove Radio] and Amazing A [FRMT] came down to the studio as well. AA actually managed to sqeeze in a little Toastyboy special. Toastyboy recently announced that, sadly, hewill no longer be producing dubstep. But we wish him good luck in his future endeavours and enjoy AA’s mix of probably most of his releases.

For this weeks show we invited our good friend and true Bassline supporter Yohan to come and play some of his favourite Dubstep tunes. Yohan used to live in Tokyo, Japan, and started out DJing at bars and clubs there. So we chat about the scene in Japan and hear some of his selection. We also chat a bit about the Music Doc Festivalthat goes on this weekend in Gothenburg.
